Creating Rhythm Using Throat Articulation and Glottal Stops
Irish Flute Technique is aimed at the more experienced player as it includes advanced ornamentation and articulation skills. Although the techniques taught in this course are challenging technically, many of the tunes taught are also suitable for the less advanced player. A keyed flute (or a keyless flute player with half-holing ability) is required for a few of the tunes taught in the keys of F major and D minor.
By the end of this course, you will have a wealth of technical tips and tricks to use with your current repertoire, as well as thirteen new, quirky flute tunes. The course has 13 lessons, broken into 3 to 4 tutorials each, where tunes are taught phrase by phrase.
